8 miles south of the cruise ship docks.

“Fish On” Inn oversees
bustling activity that includes commercial and
sport fishing boats, jumping salmon, soaring
eagles and feeding whales. In the distance
watch the cruise ships arriving and departing.
Herring Cove is
always changing with up to a 22 foot difference
between high and low tide.Watch Chinook (king),Silver
(coho) and Pink(humpy) salmon swimming upstream
to the hatchery and seals, bears, eagles, seagulls,
blue heron, and ravens feasting on the salmon.
